What I found was that those who feel better faster have a few things in common. When facing difficulties, they tend to:
Creating a Better Life
In my practice as a Reiki practioner and intercultural trainer, I was very intrigued by the following: despite treating everyone with the same compassion and technique -
LISTEN TO THE GIFTS HIDDEN IN CRISIS
Regardless of how they initially respond, they are later able to quiet down, hear, and interpret the messages hidden behind the challenges they face. They also look for the themes brought about by their most challenging relationships.
Difficult people and challenging life circumstances often come to us as gifts or messages to show us the issues we need to work on in this lifetime. We do not always need to suffer in order to learn and grow, but when we do suffer we can more clearly see our "mis-creations". We are presented with the lessons that show us where we could shift our thought patterns, emotions, or behavior, in order to more fully allow the flow of happiness.
ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY
People who get better faster understand that when something "happens" to them, it's because they are being called to change or grow, not something else, or someone else. Surprisingly, difficulties tend to leave our lives when we understand our responsibility TO them, when we come to peace with their existence as our own creation, and when we are then able to let them go and create something different and better.
